Walking by torchlight

Above us only stars

A night-time hike

If you’ve never enjoyed a walk by torchlight, you mustn’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.

A sea of stars brightens the night sky above St. Anton am Arlberg. There’s an excited murmuring amongst the participants; after all, it’s not every day that you get to walk by flickering firelight. The twinkling lights of the village fade behind you, everyone finds their rhythm, and your eyes adjust to the torchlight. The trees cast dancing shadows, the air is fresh and clear.

A torchlight hike is a fantastic opportunity to experience the beauty of the natural world around our Arpuria in a whole new, unique way. The gentle glow of the flames and the velvety darkness of night create a unique atmosphere – and a group hike always promises plenty of fun and sociable moments!

Are you interested in embarking on a fascinating journey through the darkness, led by experienced guides? Then you absolutely have to join one of our torchlight hikes during your time with us!

Already included for you
As a guest of Arpuria, this activity is free of charge for you thanks to the St. Anton Summer Card. You’ll find the exact days of the torchlight hikes in our weekly programme.

Time to indulge
As the hike doesn’t begin until 9 p.m., you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely, delicious meal at our Pura Restaurant before heading off on your adventure. How about a tasty soup or a mouth-watering plate of pasta to give you an energy boost before you set off?

Once you return to our hotel, you can let the wonders of the experience sink in while enjoying a nightcap at our Vita Bar and look forward to everything the next day at your hidden luxury mountain home has in store.

With your head filled with those enchanting thoughts, you return to your room. The stars are still twinkling, the torches have been quenched, and you sink into bed: tired but happy.

We couldn’t be happier to have you as our guest.
