This event pays tribute to the fascination we humans have for the mountains and celebrates and showcases mountain sports in all their facets at the heart of the Alps: the Mountain Sports Festival 2024. What better place to celebrate passion for the mountains than Tyrol? After all, everything revolves around the rocky giants in St. Anton am Arlberg.

From 28 to 30 June 2024, you can look forward to an extensive festival programme all dedicated to the subject of mountains. At the expo area outside the tourist info office, renowned exhibitors will present the latest mountain sports products, an open-air movie night will whisk viewers away into the impressive world of mountain film, and a varied activity programme will offer the opportunity to explore the mountain landscape. From hiking and biking to paragliding and climbing to trail-running and kayaking, the extensive range includes tours, courses, and camps under expert guidance.

A sporting highlight has to be the Montafon Arlberg Marathon on 29 June. If you’re not taking part yourself, you can still cheer on the incredible athletic performances and celebrate them at the prize-giving ceremony in the afternoon, as – after 42 kilometres and 1,500 metres of elevation – runners will cross the finish line right here in St. Anton am Arlberg.

And of course, what would a celebration be without a little music? The cool, laid-back side events promise fantastic vibes and are sure to get you shaking and grooving. The three days of the festival will see Tony Wright, Dave Wildheart, Soda Zitron, and the One Take Band rock the stage.
